Urea Truck Unloading Skids

For facilities that receive urea reagent in bulk liquid form, RM Technologies Urea Truck Unloading Skids serve as the critical, automated interface between delivery tankers and your primary storage. These factory-tested modules centralize the transfer process, providing drivers with a standardized "plug-and-play" connection while minimizing the risk of environmental spills.

High-Performance Transfer Technology

Efficiency is at the core of our design. These skids are engineered to empty a standard 5,000-gallon tanker in under 45 minutes using one of two robust pumping options:

  • Sealless Magnetic Drive Pumps: Ideal for leak-free, long-term reliability.
  • Self-Priming Centrifugal Pumps: Designed for rapid, dependable suction and discharge.

Anti-Crystallization & Material Integrity

Because liquid urea is prone to crystallizing and "locking" traditional mechanical components, our unloading modules are built to withstand harsh operating conditions:

  • 316L Stainless Steel: All manifolding is constructed from high-grade stainless steel for superior corrosion resistance.
  • Integrated Heat Tracing: Manifolds are heat-traced to maintain urea above its crystallization point.
  • Debris Filtration: Integrated strainer baskets capture solid urea scale or external debris before they can enter and contaminate your storage system.

Safety & Automation

Each skid features a dedicated control panel designed to protect your equipment and the environment through several fail-safes:

  • High-Level Interlocks: Automatically communicates with storage tanks to prevent overfills.
  • Dry-Run Protection: Safeguards pumps from damage if the tanker runs empty.
  • Purge System: A built-in demineralized water flush port allows operators to clear the unloading arm and hoses after every delivery, preventing clogs.
